Why we walk
The Walk-A-Thon kicks off the school year with the whole Trinity community together โ and it's our biggest fundraiser. Every pledge reduces the building debt and provides tuition assistance for Trinity families in need, which helps keep tuition affordable for everyone.

Walk instructions at the flagpole; classes are dismissed to walk together so families can walk with their kids' classes.
Start walking! About 2 miles around the Trinity neighborhood. Strollers and wagons welcome โ please leave pets, bikes, blades, and scooters at home.
Snacks & fellowship back at the flagpole โ water, coffee, and time to connect while all walkers finish.

Collecting pledges
Ask family, friends, neighbors, and church members to sponsor your walkers. Track everyone on the family pledge sheet, and update your online pledge total each Tuesday.
New this year: one sheet per family. Print it, track your pledges on the back, and turn it in at the office (or with your child) after the walk โ due Thursday, October 8. Checks payable to Trinity Christian School โ no cash, please.
View & print the sheetBusiness donations: before approaching a business, please call Deanne Bekermeier at (815) 577-9310 ext. 68 so we don't double up on annual sponsors. Sponsorships of $500+ receive advertising at school events all year.
